Job descriptionBachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years' experience in the automotive industry, preferably in electrical systems and wiring harness design. Proficiency in CATIA V5R26 (mandatory); UG 11.0 optional; CHS (Capital Harness XC) is an advantage. Knowledge of brackets, channels, harness-related components, and passenger car systems. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English (written & spoken). Be part of a global MNC driving innovation in mobility and automotive technology. Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product design solutions for automotive wiring harnesses.
- Perform 3D vehicle-level harness packaging and routing quality checks.
- Review electrical aggregates in DMU for design sign-off.
- Prepare technical drawings, fitment documents, and control prints.
- Provide design solutions for DFA, DFM, and vehicle-level issues.
- Support design-related activities at customer locations and during pilot builds.
- Lead design cost-reduction initiatives and propose VAVE ideas.
- Support component localization and supplier optimization.
- Collaborate with internal teams on new project quotations, RFQs, and customer presentations.
- Maintain strong customer relations and ensure timely project deliverables.
