The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving high-quality traffic to our e-commerce platforms through a multi-channel strategy. This role requires expertise in SEO, paid search, paid social, influencer marketing, and marketplace advertising (Lazada, Shopee, etc.).
Responsibilities
1. To lead & execute the 3P Marketplace Advertising (Lazada / Shopee Sponsored Ads) for Decathlon (MY + SG)
- Optimize and manage paid advertising strategies on e-commerce marketplaces like Lazada and Shopee
- Analyze marketplace trends, competition, and performance data to improve ad efficiency
- Work closely with internal & external stakeholders to plan and execute online campaigns and promotions aligned with marketplace calendars
- Run and optimize sponsored ads (Shopee Ads, Lazada Sponsored Solutions) to drive traffic, sales, and ROI
- Track store performance metrics, generate weekly reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement
2. Collaborate & support the performance marketing strategy for Decathlon Malaysia
Collaborate with Performance Marketing Lead to create cohesive performance marketing strategy for Decathlon MalaysiaSupport & execute marketing campaigns across various digital marketing channels (Google / Meta etc.) to drive quality traffic & salesOptimise targeting & messages to the right user audience in the most efficient way possible.Ensure that marketing channels are bringing quality traffic & sales at the right CPM, CPC & ROASWork with relevant internal / external stakeholders to strategise & launch local campaigns according to business objectives.3. Analyse performances & provide actionable recommendations on a regular basis
Provide weekly and monthly reports with insights for continuous improvementMonitor customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and other key metricsCreate & monitor performance marketing dashboards & reports for visibilityProvide data-driven insights on a monthly basis to optimise performance across different channelsKPIs
Traffic Growth : Increase organic and paid traffic to e-commerce platforms.Online Revenue Growth : Increase turnover to ecommerce platforms using organic & paid mediaReturn on Ad Spend (ROAS) : Ensure profitability and efficiency of paid media campaignsCost per acquisition (CPA) : Optimize spending to acquire customers efficientlyCost per Click (CPC) : Optimise performance marketing campaigns to bring in quality traffic at the right CPCMarketplace Ad Performance : Measure revenue growth and ROAS from Lazada / Shopee adsRequirements
Sportive PersonalityStrong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential. Other languages are a plusBachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related fieldMin 1 year of hands-on experience in performance marketing, e-commerce traffic management, or digital advertising.Proven track record in managing and optimizing multi-channel traffic acquisition campaigns.Experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is highly preferredHard Skills :
Min 1-2 years hands-on expertise in 3P Marketplace advertising (Shopee / Lazada), Google Ads & Meta Ads.Data-driven with experience with Google Analytics and / or AmplitudeExperience with app marketing & measurement tools (Adjust, Appsflyer etc.) will be highly preferredSoft Skills :
