As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Shark Ninja is expanding our APAC business and scaling it rapidly. Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, Shark Ninja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which Malaysia plays a critical role. We have taken over this market from our distributors, so that we can run them directly and drive strong growth, behind innovation and investments.
Responsibilities
- Store Visits : Regularly visit assigned retail locations to assess product displays, gather feedback, and make adjustments to improve visibility and sales.
- Sales Management – build relationship with channel partners to expand distribution network and increase retail sales revenue.
- Stock Replenishment : Monitor inventory levels at retail locations to ensure products are always in stock. Replenish shelves, as needed, to avoid stockouts or overstocks.
- Promotional Support : Set up and update in-store promotions, seasonal displays, and special campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
- Sales Support : Assist store staff in understanding product features, benefits, and key selling points. Provide training or support for retail employees so that they communicate effectively with customers.
- Market Research : Gather information on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends to provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams.
- Reporting : Maintain regular reports on stock levels, merchandising compliance, and sales performance at assigned locations. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Merchandising Compliance : Ensure all merchandising activities comply with company standards, branding, and legal requirements.
- Training : Support Retail Excellence Lead on training facilitation
Required Skills And Qualifications
