Quality Control Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities :

• To perform tests, inspections and evaluation on incoming raw materials, in-process products, finished products, research and development samples, aging stock and production activities in accordance to quality plan.
• To perform routine physical and chemical analysis on raw material, in process products and finished products according to SOPs.
• To ensure quality control testing for incoming, in-process and finished product are completed in timely manner with prompt data entry and report.
• To attend to all quality and food safety matters in daily operation.
• To maintain good housekeeping of in-house laboratory.
• To participate in Quality Audit conducted by internal or external bodies.
• To execute the implementation of ISO22000, HACCP and GMP.
• To maintain and execute proper documentation including certificates, manuals, SOPs and quality records.
• To participate in lab investigation related to rejections and deviations.
• To perform root cause analysis and resolve quality related matters.
• To participate in review and revision of Standard Operation Procedure, Standard Test Procedure and Qualification Document in Quality Control Laboratories.
• To participate in Quality improvement plan for continual improvement in quality system, product and service.
• To ensure lab assistants are trained and qualified to perform their assigned duties.
• To participate in company activities pertaining to training, employee activity, firefighting, safety and health.
• To support department KPI and work as a team to achieve overall company quality objective.
• To undertake job related tasks as assigned by superior / the management.
