Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely delivery of materials. Ensure all purchased items comply with Malaysian standards, regulations, and statutory requirements. Prepare and submit applications to relevant authorities, including : SIRIM – product certification, testing reports, and labeling requirements, Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) – Certificate of Approval (COA) for electrical products and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) – device certifications Track and ensure timely renewal of all relevant certificates and licenses. Maintain accurate filing and documentation of regulatory submissions and approvals. Liaise with testing laboratories, consultants, and government officials as required. Support internal and external audits related to product compliance, procurement, and import controls. Authority
Create Purchase Orders and manage Material Master records. Oversee shipment arrangements from issuance of Purchase Orders to delivery at warehouse or site. Role Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement operations; experience with international sourcing is an advantage. Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with suppliers in China and Taiwan. Strong analytical and communication skills, with keen attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Good working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Seniority level
