Purchasing Executive

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to manage day-to-day procurement operations and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a good understanding of supply chain procedures, and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships. Responsibilities

Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and reliability. Obtain quotes, compare prices, and negotiate terms and conditions with vendors. Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of all procurement activities. Coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and delivery timelines. Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records. Resolve supplier issues and discrepancies in deliveries, invoices, or quality. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse or inventory teams. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 1–3+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role. Good knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and supply chain principles. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software or ERP systems. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
