Operator CNC

Overview Responsible for manufacturing deburring process, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Responsibilities

Responsible for production and quality output

Perform deburring process according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions.

Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift.

Highlight any problems or abnormalities

Provide training activities for new comer (buddy system)

Take part in continuous improvement activities

Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol

Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assigned by the superior

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Able to work independently

Able to speak and write simple English

Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing

Team player with good problem-solving skills

Basic computer literacy

Educational / Certification Requirement At least SKM for Malaysian or equivalent technical cert in other countries.

Experience Requirement

Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)

Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment : wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes

Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required

Work Experience

1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment

2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage, or CNC related-background, or

1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and / or similar industry

Ability to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 15 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Required to have visual acuity to perform assigned tasks and to wear personal protective equipment

Subject to hazards including electrical current, moving mechanical parts, exposure to chemicals and debris

Overnight Travel : Work may require out of town travel depending upon assignment (training and meeting)
