We are now looking for a Junior Accounting Executive to support our growing finance team.
Role Overview :
As a Account Executive, you will support the Finance Department in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with audits, preparing daily cashflow reports, and managing supporting documentation. This role is ideal for individuals who are meticulous, eager to learn, and ready to build a solid foundation in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Daily Financial Operations :
- Prepare, update, and monitor daily cashflow reports, ensuring records reflect actual balances and projections.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledgers.
- Manage and reconcile petty cash, bank accounts, and staff claims.
2. Document Management & Filing :
Collect and organize supporting documents such as invoices, payment vouchers, official receipts, and bank slips.Ensure all financial documents are properly filed, labeled, and stored for easy retrieval, especially for audit and compliance use.3. Audit Support :
Assist in preparation for internal and external audits by compiling requested financial data and supporting documents.Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to provide relevant information and ensure smooth audit processes.Address audit queries in a timely and accurate manner.4. General Accounting Tasks :
Assist in data entry for accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and general ledger postings.Support the month-end and year-end closing process including preparation of reports, schedules, and reconciliations.Help in generating reports for management, such as cashflow summaries, expense reports, and account analysis.5. Ad Hoc Finance Support :
Perform other ad hoc financial tasks or projects as assigned by the Finance Manager, including research, administrative support, or participation in process improvement initiatives.Support payroll or HR-related finance functions if required.Requirements :
Minimum qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL Accounting Software is an added advantage.Knowledge of taxation and auditing procedures is a plus.Good organizational skills and high attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills and a responsible attitude.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and will be given training and guidance.Job Types : Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
