The company has a team of experienced engineers and technicians who are available to help with any problems that may arise.You are expected to support the current Senior Project controller as well as the local Project Controller to follow the financials of a portfolio of projects mostly manufactured in Malaysia. Project Portfolio financial follow-up as well as global project portfolio support through report building to transition to BI tools.You are expected to support the current Senior Project controller as well as the local Project Controller to follow the financials of a portfolio of projects mostly manufactured in Malaysia. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reporting related : o Update monthly recurrent reports o Ensure correct Intragroup Invoicing of support hours between legal entities o Support the transition to Power Bi reports o Running month end close transactions for the MY Project portfolio and eventually additional entities.
• Project controlling for a subset of the global Portfolio : o Carry out monthly reviews of the projects with Project Managers to ensure planned values reflect the operational status o Track, understand and challenge margin deviations o Ensuring accuracy of the billing plan and timely invoicing to customers o Providing visibility to and challenging Project Managers on cash collection o Supporting PMs on the quarterly reforecast of Revenues and Margin o Ad-hoc support to PMs for specific analyses.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED
• Proficient with Power Bi (Data Model management, Report creation)
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Controlling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive attitude : trying to anticipate problems to alert or act before they arise or grow
• Proficient in Excel : comfortable with the use of pivot tables and able to read / understand / create complex formulas
• Problem solving mindset : willingness to understand the source of an issue and search to workout potential solutions KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
• Experience with SAP is a plus (especially with the PS module)PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
• Critical thinker : ability to question the usefulness & efficiency of tasks and processes
• Attention to detail : to ensure the accuracy of analyses and reports
• Pedagogue : willingness to explain financial information to non-finance colleagues
