Equity Research - Analyst / Associate Job Description

As an Analyst / Associate in Equity Research, you may help to conduct and facilitate industry analysis andpany-specific coverage. Research is fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates who possess strong accounting, finance, quantitative, AI / LLM and business writingmunication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience. The role will be to directly support Co-head of Research for APAC Financials equity coverage.

Job responsibilities

• Conduct core research ranging from dissecting earnings releases and regulatory filings to assessing relevant news events.
• Perform modelling financial statements and industry dynamics, performing detailed valuation work, writing research notes and sector pieces.
• Use technology tools, including AI / LLM to improve quality of analysis, as well as workflows
• Speak to internal / external clients and management teams about the stocks / sector.
• Work with our partners in both sales and trading to provideprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates and market intelligence.
