About the Role

To lead and design solutions for AIA group functions in alignment with enterprise architecture and group IT strategy. Additionally, oversee project activities and deliverables for data projects such as platform provisioning, supporting and rationalizing data platform for various group functions such as Finance, Distribution, Risk, Treasury, Investments, HR, Actuarial and Operations.

Leadership and Management (40%)

• Ensure key stakeholders are engaged, participating in delivery, and have their needs met upon project completion
• Collaborate with various teams to achieve deliverables
• Onboard and work with China development team for design, build and testing
• Complete and gain timely approvals of necessary governance documents
• Lead and run business and technology governance forums
• Drive the TBP and ADR process
• Lead the architecture initiatives in alignment with Group IT strategy

Communication Requirements

Internal (90%)

This position will communicate with departments in Group Office, Business Partners, & local BUs, including IT (Solution and Service COEs), Compliance, Corporate Secretary, Finance, Treasury, Distribution, Actuarial, Investments, HR, and Risk. The position requires communicating effectively with working level people as well as presentations to department heads.

External (10%)

This position will communicate with vendors over product selection and / or delivering solutions
