Job description

Responsible for sales projects in the region of local market

Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyse the viability of alternative business development opportunities

Ability to execute highly complex or specialised projects, adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions

Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets

Develop and maintain strategic business relationship with customers and business / channel partners to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships, enhance customer satisfaction and customer retention

Compliance to the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) policies and programs to ensure safety programs, policies, requirements, analysis, reports and plans meet applicable safety standards and local and international laws

Perform OHSE inspections and audits, and provide safety orientation and induction courses and other training

Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met

Relevant Experience & Qualifications :

At least 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience; preferably in structural steel building material products, steel fabrication or construction industry
Strong in Sales Professional, Sales Process and thorough understand of local markets
Strong networking in structural steel or construction industry and connection with Architects / Engineers & Consultants
Having basic technical knowledge on steel building design. Codes and requirements
Prior experience at representing an organization and solid presentation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in MS Office
