JAPANESE TRANSLATOR

Responsibilities

• Support Japanese expatriates in daily communications with local teams.
• Interpret spoken communication between Japanese, English, and Malay during meetings, seminars, and calls.
• Provide either accurate or summarized translation, depending on the context.
• Translate documents, reports, and emails as needed.
• Assist in simultaneous interpretation during live discussions or presentations.
• Prepare by researching topics ahead of scheduled sessions.
• Support with preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance in all translations.
• Any other tasks assigned by management related to translation and communication.
