Overview
The CIB Operations and International Markets Transformation team is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing transformation initiatives aimed at making the bank more scalable, efficient, and digital.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in business operations and processes.
- Develop and present business cases and feasibility studies to support decision-making processes.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Analyze and document current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout project lifecycles.
- Facilitate process mapping sessions and workshops to gather requirements and design future state processes.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure that key risk issues and concerns are escalated to Group / governance committees as appropriate.
- Ensure all mandatory learning is completed by deadlines.
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Governance
Ensure that key risk issues and concerns are escalated to Group / governance committees appropriately.
