Accountant / Finance Manager

Job descriptionCandidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy or a professional qualification in ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent recognized by MIA At least three (3) years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure in listed companies and manufacturing sector. Candidates with audit experience are encourage to apply Strong analytical skill and meticulous for details, possess high integrity and able to work independently under tight deadlines A dedicated team player with positive personality, strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong written and oral communication skills at all levels Open to giving and receiving feedback with a continuous improvement mindset Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to time sensitive deadlines
Responsibilities
- To prepare accurate and timely consolidated monthly and yearly financial statements, quarterly reports for Bursa announcement, Board Papers and Annual Report
- To review and analyze the financial data and reports of the Group, its subsidiaries and related companies
- To assist in preparation of Group’s budget, cash flow management and projections
- To ensure statutory compliance such as audit, taxation and other statutory requirement by working closely with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, company secretary and other statutory bodies
- Management and implement good internal control and standard operating procedures to safeguard the Company’s assets
- To perform and prepare reporting by business units, analysis of manufacturing products, monitor manufacturing variances, yield and gross margin analysis
- Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance including new acquisition, due diligence and other corporate exercises
- Prepare full set of accounts and ensure timely submission of financial & management reports.
