Overview
Associate, Network Development (Indonesian Speaker) Jan 2026 Intake at GLG – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role focuses on developing and growing GLG Councils in Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on the Indonesia market and other SEA regions.
Responsibilities
- Quickly and efficiently identify and establish consulting relationships with professionals and experts best suited to participate in high-priority client inquiries through telephone marketing and email.
- Grow the GLG Councils by recruiting key opinion leaders on a strategic / tactical basis, using campaigns, industry lists, trade and business associations, referrals, and other relationships.
- Interview prospective industry leaders as needed and capture critical data in GLG’s profile management systems.
- Consult with client-facing Research Managers to gauge clients’ needs and fulfill time-sensitive research requests by analyzing client inquiries and identifying qualifying populations.
- Understand clients’ research workflows and objectives, supporting client-facing colleagues in growing GLG client relationships by applying best practices when engaging with prospective and current industry experts.
- Develop a working knowledge of GLG's core industry coverage to improve project and product service quality; stay aware of broader industry trends relevant to expert recruitment and client servicing.
- Work on other projects related to building the GLG Councils.
Required Skills
Superior communication and interaction skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities in a business-focused setting across multiple channels (telephone, email, in-person, etc.).Proficiency in Indonesian language is essential to liaise with experts and clients based in Indonesia.Strong problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.Experience with different cultures, either domestically or while studying / working abroad.Fresh graduates with up to 1 year of experience, and a driven mindset are welcome to apply.Confidence in making outbound cold calls daily.Minimum bachelor’s degree from top-tier colleges or universities.About GLG
