Job descriptionLaw degree from a reputable university and bar qualifications. At least 5 years of experience in banking, treasury, fund management or related fields. Strong legal drafting and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Senior Manager / Vice President, Markets Legal
Responsibilities :
- Assist in the review, drafting and negotiation of GTM-related legal documentation, including ISDA, GMRA, Foreign Exchange, Structured Products and equivalent Islamic versions.
- Provide preliminary legal advice on standard and non-standard documentation issues.
- Escalate complex legal matters to the supervisor as appropriate.
- Review and comment on market-standard documents under supervision.
- Provide legal advice on GTM product-related contracts, ensuring legal risks are identified and addressed.
- Work closely with front office, operations and other support teams to resolve documentation-related queries.
- Act as a liaison between business units and the legal team to ensure alignment on documentation standards.
- Assist in preparing training materials and delivering sessions on documentation standards and legal processes.
- Contribute to internal knowledge management initiatives within the team.
