Engineering Lead / Manager

Multi-skill professional in Business Development, Quality, Procurement, SW Test and Project Management

Key Job Accountabilities :

• Lead the capture of customer requirements, determination of BOM structure, and development of the Product Control Plan. Define product tooling strategy.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness of assigned customer product using the APQP process.
• Serve as the technical expert for customer inquiries, lead design for manufacturability discussions, and assist the customer in resolving problems, coordinating for SME support as needed.
• Conduct product-level improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Support efforts to identify root causes of failures and develop short- and long-term action plans for CAPA.
• Provide routine technical support to manufacturing personnel, answer technical questions, and lead real-time analysis and resolution of customer / product related problems.
• Make decisions on rework versus scrap as needed by operations.
• Responsible to manage engineers, evaluating subordinate’s potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring they receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
