2C2P is a global payments platform helping businesses securely accept payments across online, mobile and in-store channels. The company is headquartered in Singapore and operates globally, with an expertise in emerging markets. It is the preferred payments platform provider of the world’s leading enterprises across all sectors including IKEA, Lazada, Thai Airways, Lenovo and more.

We are looking to hire a motivated, analytical, and adventurous Business Development Manager to help us grow the online payment acceptance in MY and cross border . The role will be operating in complex matrix settings, focusing on acquire and managing distributing merchants and partners

Key Responsibilities :

Generate new business by signing up new merchants / clients, regularly meeting or exceeding assigned sales and / or revenue targets assigned by management.

Regularly monitor sales and profitability of merchants / clients under assigned portfolios to maximize business and specifically identify cross-sell opportunities to increase revenue.

Generate additional revenue through the periodic review of commercials of merchants / clients under assigned portfolio and re-price as necessary.

Manage and / or assist in each and every step of the merchant / client onboarding process – from documentation, conducting meetings and workshops, to integration with 3rd party players and testing – and ensuring the successful deployment of 2C2P solutions.

Plan, initiate, direct and coordinate projects that are related to existing or new 2C2P products and services, from ideation to completion, while ensuring on-time completion.

Collaborate with the team on product development, product-focused sales activities and new revenue opportunities.

Serve as a liaison between merchants / clients, partners, sales team, development team, support team and other internal or external parties involved in projects being handled by the candidate.

Monitor and, if necessary, address merchant, client or partner requests, complaints and concerns in a timely manner.

Prepare and develop proposals, business case studies, agreements and sales presentations for clients and partners.

Conduct effective product demonstrations, sales presentations, sales visits and customer trainings, whether in-person or virtual.

Regularly report sales performance and sales plan to the management.

Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, webinars and meetings.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Finance or related field; MBA preferred.

8 – 12 years of experience in fintech, banking, or e-commerce, with a strong focus on digital payments or payment gateways.

Proven track record in operations leadership, team management, and cross-functional project execution.

Solid understanding of payment flows, acquiring / issuing systems, and risk / fraud frameworks.

Familiarity with industry protocols such as tokenization, 3DS, settlement, and reconciliation.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

Prior experience at a payment gateway, PSP, or acquiring bank.

Knowledge of API‑based systems and experience in technology‑enabled service delivery.

Exposure to international payments, cross‑border settlements, or alternative payment methods.
