Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant located in Puchong. The Purchasing Assistant will assist in procurement functions, including sourcing vendors, managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory records, ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies, and liaising with internal departments to support operational needs. The role emphasizes attention to detail, negotiation skills, and supporting cost optimization efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills in procurement, vendor sourcing, and purchase order management
• Proficiency in inventory management and record-keeping
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for supplier and internal team coordination
• Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills
• Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office or procurement platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management, particularly in the F&B industry, is a plus
• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
