Job descriptionMentor and develop engineering and technical staff to build a high-performing team. Conduct regular performance reviews, set individual and team goals, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning. Evaluate and implement automation solutions to enhance production efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation technologies into existing processes. Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of automated systems. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technology. Lead and manage engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success. Oversee energy usage and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability. Monitor and analyze energy performance data and recommend improvements. Ensure compliance with energy regulations and industry standards. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Implement corrective actions to address any safety concerns. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on production processes. Proven track record of leading process improvement and automation projects. Strong leadership and people management skills. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficient in project management and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of energy management practices and sustainability initiatives. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards. Experience in the tape manufacturing industry or a related field. Proficiency in using process simulation software and other engineering tools. Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP).

- Lead and implement process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity within the production departments.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
