Contract Type - Fixed Term Contract until 30th April 2028
Location : Hybrid (Kuala Lumpur office 2 days a week)
Reporting to : Head of Production

We’re in an exciting period of growth and we’re looking for the right person to join Cognition Learning Group as a Project Management and Mobilisation Office Lead .
In this role, you’ll take ownership of key projects, including supporting the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD) in the Solomon Islands with the delivery and implementation of project activities.
Key responsibilities :
- Taking responsibility for oversight, risk management and resource identification across the Solomon Island projects
- Be accountable for the delivery of planned internal and external projects and programmes of work to a pre‐defined timeline and within agreed target cost including liaison with key customers or internal sponsors.
- Provide management and direction to delivery teams so as to ensure that the companies projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.
- Managing the development of systems, processes and project reporting
- Act as the Projects Lead ensuring strong project and risk management approaches are embedded and staff are supported, trained and coached in using Cognition’s project management systems.
- Oversee a variety of projects at different stages of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution and closure.
- Identify, deploy and performance manage project managers / directors to ensure projects are executed successfully, group approved systems are deployed, projects have sufficient resource and risk is identified, mitigated or escalated as appropriate.
- Ensure project delivery requirements, to an agreed timeline and within approved target cost Maintains effective communication and working relationships with commercial team, and project team members.
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have :Professional qualification in project management or experience of leading and managing projects / programmes within the business or education sectorExcellent communication skillsStrong commercial skillsStrong demonstrable Project management skills : well organised, strong planner, prioritises, and delivers to deadlines / within budget.Confident in the use of industry standard tools, techniques and specialist software e.g. Microsoft ProjectBuilds effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers and partners.Excellent attention to detail, time management and prioritisation skills.Deadline : Friday 10th October at 5 : 00pm
