Process Engineer (ASRS)

Conduct detailed analysis and evaluation of existing automated warehousing processes, identifying areas to reduce inefficiencies and redundancies.

Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.

Collaborate with ASRS supplier, Automation Engineers and Warehouse team to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Monitor and analyze process performance metrics and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process‑related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Provide training and guidance to Warehouse teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar).

5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.

Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.

Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software (FlexSim).

Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.

Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC.

Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Communicates effectively both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
