Indirect Tax Accountant

Position summary

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance / accounting professional with several years of experience to gain and develop an all‑round role in a fast-growing group, covering consolidation, management reporting and month-end close. Candidates directly coming from Big 4 are welcome. Immediate availability is highly preferred. Candidates with more experience may be considered for Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and reports for various taxes, including WHT, VAT and SST.
• Administer indirect tax laws and apply them to the company’s operations.
• Advise management on indirect tax matters, including tax planning, compliance and, if applicable, tax litigation.
• Maintain and reconcile tax accounts on an up-to-date basis.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax costs.
• Support tax audits by coordinating with auditors and addressing findings.
• Provide training to employees on indirect tax topics (laws, compliance, planning).
• Assist tax manager with ad-hoc tasks such as tax instalment payments.
