The HLFG Risk function is responsible for identifying and monitoring key risk areas across the portfolio by engaging with risk heads of individual entities. This includes consolidating risk information, providing reporting on the overall risk profile, and offering support and responses to risk-related queries. This role acts as a vital connector, partnering closely with the Head of Risk for the Financial Group and entity Chief Risk Officers. The primary mandate is to establish a consolidated, group‑level view of risk, set guiding principles, drive strategic alignment, and coordinate risk management enhancements across the Group.
Responsibilities
- Group-Level Analysis & Reporting : Perform group-level risk analysis, consolidating data from diverse business entities to prepare insightful reports and risk dashboards for Senior Management and the Board.
- Framework Policy Alignment : Drive the strategic alignment of risk frameworks and policies, promoting consistency between entity-level practices and the Group's guiding principles and overall risk appetite.
- Risk Appetite & Proactive Oversight : Manage the Group's Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) process, from development to cascading, and perform proactive monitoring of risk limits and thresholds.
- Senior Stakeholder Engagement : Act as a key liaison, building strong relationships and facilitating regular risk forums with entity CROs and Group Control Functions (Audit, Compliance).
- Strategic Governance & Regulatory Management : Provide oversight on regulatory developments, interpreting new guidelines and assessing their impact across the Group's banking, insurance, and asset management sectors.
- Emerging Risk Oversight : Coordinate the Group's view on emerging risks (e.g., ESG, Climate, Digital), analyzing their potential impact on the Group's portfolios.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with internal, external, and regulatory stakeholders.
Skills & Experience We Are Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Economics / Accounts or any equivalent.5 years and above of relevant experience in the banking / finance / investment industry (e.g., risk management, audit, compliance).Strong proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools, including Excel (e.g., pivot tables) and PowerPoint, is highly preferred.Job Details
