About the role

This is a contract role for an Intern - Halal & Risk Management position at McDonald's Malaysia, located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be supporting the company's compliance and risk management efforts, with a focus on halal requirements and standards.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the company's halal compliance program
• Monitor and report on the organization's adherence to halal standards and regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential halal-related risks
• Support the development and rollout of halal-related training and awareness programs for employees
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of halal considerations into business operations
• Prepare reports and presentations on halal compliance and risk management activities
• Stay updated on the latest halal regulations and industry best practices
