About the Job

As a Founder Scouting Intern, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to scout for our next cohort of early stage startups. Your primary role will be to identify and engage with the next wave of great startups. You will gain deep insights into how a Venture Capital firm operates, learn what we look for in early stage startups, and play a crucial role in building the foundation for new, impactful and world-changing startups.

Immediate. This is a 3-month full-time paid internship, based onsite at our office in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

Your focus will be on identifying and attracting early stage startups to join Antler Malaysia's Rolling Residency. You will work directly with our local team to build a strong pipeline of high-calibre founders driving impactful startups.

• Startup / Founder Identification :

Proactively identify and source high-potential early-stage startups, aligned to the focus areas / industries of Malaysia.

Utilise various channels, including LinkedIn, university networks, industry events, and referrals, to build and nurture a strong top of funnel of early stage startups.

Support the screening process of incoming applications and conduct initial assessments to identify promising applications that align with Antler's investment thesis for the interview process.

Assist in planning, promoting, and executing scouting events (both virtual and in-person) designed to build the Antler brand and attract top talent.

Manage communications with potential founders, ensuring a positive and engaging experience from their first point of contact.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer RM1,000 per month internship salary and 7 days annual leave allowance for the duration of the internship.
