Job descriptionMinimum Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Candidates with Diploma and relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply. Preferably 2-3 years of working experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Hands‑on experience with good troubleshooting ability. Analytical, proactive, and able to make sound decisions. Good in planning, organizing, and coordination. Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems, transformers, auxiliary systems, and instrumentation is an advantage. Fresh graduates / entry‑level applicants are encouraged to apply.
Electrical / Senior Electrical Engineer (Based in Lahat, Ipoh)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Electrical team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.
- Plan and oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental policies and regulations.
- Monitor and ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are carried out effectively to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and meetings to identify and resolve operational or technical issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and statutory compliance (e.g., SIRIM, certificates of fitness).
- Ensure all major electrical equipment is maintained and operating at optimal performance.
