JOB PURPOSE :

This is an exciting opportunity to join Magnum Ice Cream Company’s marketing team, this role will be important to drive excellent executions for all marketing-related operations, ensuring all the roll‑out plans and processes are met to achieve timely to reach consumers. We're looking for a driven, proactive, creative and organized Brand Executive who will be responsible for coordinate the activations of our brand strategy in Malaysia across consumer facing channels.

Using breakthrough thinking and category, consumer, brand and customer understanding to create a clear and ambitious growth vision and strategy for the assigned portfolio. This is a role of high strategic importance for the assigned portfolio. You’ll be part of the local marketing team working across a range of varied and exciting brand projects, from our big bet national advertising campaigns, through to building a standout brand experience across direct‑to‑consumer channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Product Management & Marketing Executions

  • Manage roll‑out executions of marketing launches, including and not limited to campaign in‑store executions, trade promotions, contests and microsite page assets.
  • Adaptation of Marketing collaterals to POSM for nationwide and all Key Accounts, and able to execute impactful in‑store displays.
  • Innovation and Renovation project administration, including code creation, a basic understanding of SAP system and MDM processes.
  • Upload and manage the price maintenance and ensure the listing info is updated for key project launches.
  • Managing in‑store execution and out of store activities, ensuring smooth execution with issues handled swiftly.
  • Understanding brand objectives and identifying opportunities to build strong branding and engagement through activation.
  • Understanding and evaluate current market trends to develop opportunities for improvement.
  • Build a productive relationship with the customer development / sales team, Consumer Market Insights, regional category team, finance, and supply chain to manage the brand’s day‑to‑day operations, and external partners and agencies.

Media Management

  • Influencer & KOL Management by identify trendy and creative content angles for KOLs that resonate with the brand’s target audience and passion points.
  • Filter and select suitable KOLs and UGC (User‑Generated Content) from agency proposals based on relevance, quality, and brand fit. Review and approve content briefs and video submissions from KOLs to ensure compliance with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Monitor content performance across platforms and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
  • Proactively recommend new ideas and creative executions to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

    EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in brand / product management / marketing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • A basic appreciation of Marketing fundamentals and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Powerpoint, and Word).
  • Ability to work and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Project management and coordination.
  • You are always obsessive in consumer Intimacy and completely immersed in the world of the consumer, intimately understanding consumers current needs and curious about future needs.
  • You embrace a high growth mindset with strong love for consumers, shoppers and customers.

    As publicly announced, Unilever will separate its Ice Cream business which is expected by the end of 2025. This role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
