Overview

Uchi Technologies was incorporated in Malaysia on 18 February 1998. Listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia on 9 May 2002. Uchi Group is principally involved in Original Design Manufacturing (ODM), specializing in the design of electronic control systems. The company designs electronic control modules for advanced fully automatic coffee machines and high-end bio-tech equipment for world-famous branded customers. We are sourcing qualified and dynamic candidates for the following positions.

Production Officer

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree / Diploma in Electronic / Electrical field with minimum two (2) years experience in electronic manufacturing. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Responsible for timely preparation of management accounts and financial reports, analyse and report variances to facilitate management decision-making.
  • Prepare annual budget, profit and cashflow forecasts to facilitate tracking and monitoring of the financial situation.
  • Keep an accurate record of all daily transactions.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties including auditors, tax agents, tax authorities, company secretaries, government bodies for statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Proactively identify key issues and opportunities and make value-added recommendations to management on financial and non-financial matters.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc corporate assignments as required by management.

Production Control Officer (PC Officer)

  • Plan Production Master Planning (Order Loading & Adjustment), considering manpower, equipment, materials, locations, and outsource strategies.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate production; provide timely Production Monthly & Weekly Planning to related departments.
  • Process order verification and commit customer orders to Sales; maintain ERP system for planning requirements.
  • Collaborate on logistics activities and resolve capacity availability issues; manage production output / status data.
  • Lead weekly meeting on order commitment and update Sales as needed; monitor shipments.
  • Support new projects with scheduling for on-time delivery; manage subcontractor commitments and related documentation; monitor MRB quality rework status.
  • Carry out other assignments as required. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 compliance guarantees.
  • Logistics Manager

  • Main Responsibility : Perform tasks assigned by superior in accordance with specifications and schedule.
  • Oversee daily logistics activities : receiving, storing, kitting in assembly line, external work benches, and production schedule planning.
  • Maintain data entry accuracy and resolve variances; establish master plan and monthly production plan from demand to meet customer needs cost-effectively.
  • Drive on-time delivery (OTD); work with Production, Sales, Shipping, Procurement, Purchasing, and MC teams to ensure compliance with store activities.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and prioritize work; recruit, train and coach logistics staff; manage departmental budget and KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality, cycle times, process improvements, and machine availability through lean techniques to add value and reduce waste.

  • Lead the store team in investigating PC errors using problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D) and implement corrective actions.
  • Comply with ISO requirements and company safety procedures; perform duties as instructed by superiors.
  • Store Hand

  • Receive material from suppliers; verify quantity against DO and invoice.
  • Unload material, maintain stock records, issue material to production, monitor FIFO and inventory.
  • Carry out other assignments as required; support store count activities.
  • Perform failure analysis reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions; manage repair and daily Failure Analysis WIP turns for production.
  • Coordinate with Product Development and Engineering for rapid resolution of failures; maintain and update Failure Analysis data and guidelines; drive yield improvement with multiple departments.
  • Understand electronic circuit diagrams and basic statistics; supervise and motivate workers; follow daily production schedule and ensure line discipline.
  • Line troubleshooting and production quality responsibility.
  • Qualifications : completion of SPM with minimum two (2) years in electronics manufacturing; fresh graduates encouraged; pre-development samples, EMI / EMC testing, and related documentation experience; basic software knowledge (Windows / Linux / macOS).
  • Account Officer

  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks : journal entries, general ledger and bank reconciliations; prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accounting records; support month-end and year-end closings; collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties; maintain attention to detail and strong numerical skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team; proactive and adaptable to changing business needs.
  • Qualifications : Degree / Diploma in Electronic field; familiar with hardware electronics; fresh candidates encouraged.
  • Programmer

  • Develop or enhance new / existing systems following Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Participate in analysis, design, prototyping, UAT, documentation, implementation, and maintenance; undertake R&D projects.
  • Adhere to application development guidelines and standards; possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in application programming (Java / JavaScript, MSSQL, CSS, .NET, HTML, SSRS); 2-3 years’ experience is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Strong passion for programming; resourceful, energetic, independent-minded; capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Admin. Assistant

  • Qualifications : Minimum Diploma / Certificate; good interpersonal and communication skills; fresh graduates encouraged.
  • Industrial Trainee (Mechatronic)

  • To perform daily product repairing works and provide feedback on manufacturing problems; prepare daily repair reports; set up on-line testing jig and support jig repairs; repair returned defective units and report.
