Responsibilities

• Develop calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science.
• Use statistics to analyze measurement standards and processes.
• Evaluate and develop measurement uncertainty.
• Redesign or improve measurement capability.
• Develop calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science.
• Analyze and solve measurement problems.
• May develop software to assist in calibration laboratory and / or departmental processes.
• Maintain calibration laboratory and / or quality systems.
• Improve calibration processes using Lean approaches.
• Provide training to calibration technicians.
