Job Purpose
The Kitchen Crew is responsible for assisting in food preparation, cooking, plating, cleaning, and maintaining hygiene standards in the kitchen. The role ensures smooth operations and supports the kitchen team to deliver quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation such as chopping vegetables, marinating, portioning, and other basic tasks.
- Cook and assemble menu items according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment.
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cutlery, and cooking tools.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards (HACCP / company policy).
- Assist in stock management by storing raw materials properly and reporting shortages.
- Support senior chefs and supervisors in daily kitchen operations.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum SPM / equivalent qualification.Prior experience in F&B industry is an advantage but not required (training provided).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Team player with good communication skills.Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food handling is an added advantage.Key Competencies
