Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Duty Manager to join our Front Office team.

Mandarin Oriental is the award‑winning owner and operator of some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences, located in prime destinations. Our Kuala Lumpur property is a luxurious urban resort in the heart of the city, next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

About The Job

Based in the Front Office Department, the Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff during shifts, and handling any issues or emergencies that arise. This role acts as the main point of contact when senior management is unavailable and plays a key part in maintaining standards and ensuring smooth business operations. The Duty Manager reports to the Front Office Manager.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest complaints diligently and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
• Follow up on special requests from guests as instructed by the Front Office Manager and higher management.
• Oversee the night audit process.
• Organise the monthly Duty Manager’s meeting with the FOM to discuss operational matters.
