Senior Drafter-Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Drafter–Designer to join our interior architecture studio. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in both technical drafting and creative design, capable of translating conceptual ideas into accurate, buildable drawings. The Senior Drafter–Designer will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, contractors and clients to ensure all documentation is precise, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the creative vision of the project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and prepare detailed 2D drawings for a range of projects including : residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Translate concept designs into accurate construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery / shop drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and project specifications. Project Coordination

Work closely with the design team to refine layouts, material specifications, and finishes. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to clarify technical details and resolve design issues. Conduct site visits to verify measurements, inspect progress, and coordinate updates to drawings when required. Quality & Standards

Maintain a high standard of accuracy, organization, and presentation in all documentation. Implement and maintain the studio’s CAD standards and drawing templates. Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field. Minimum 3-7 years of experience in drafting and design within an interior design or architectural firm. Strong portfolio demonstrating both technical and design skills. Technical Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD Strong knowledge of construction detailing, joinery, and material specifications. Familiarity with local building codes, authority submission requirements, and industry best practices. Soft Skills

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Leadership qualities to mentor junior drafters / designers. What We Offer
