Chemist

Overview

The Chemist will be responsible for performing chemical analyses and quality control tests using ICP-OES instrumentation. This role requires strong knowledge in trace metal analysis, sample preparation techniques, calibration, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Chemist will ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• ICP-OES Operation & Analysis

Operate and maintain ICP-OES instruments for multi-elemental analysis.

Manage sample preparation for various matrices (water, chemicals, raw materials, etc.).

Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of ICP equipment.

Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ISO / ASTM standards.

Develop and validate new ICP analytical methods for different matrices.

To assist the Marketing Department and HoD on NCR issues, reports, fulfilling customer requirements and complaints of any matters relevant.
