Responsibilities
- Planning : Initiate annual EHS training plan & EHS internal audit plan in order to meet the department annual operating plan.
- Procedures & Document Update : Review & update EHS procedures according to internal & external audit findings. Initiate, update and execute EHS policies or procedures according to national laws and regulations or S.A.F.E or Global TE policies to fulfill the company EHS system and improve work efficiency.
- Safety and Health Management : Submit applications to Safety Bureau for Safety and Health Impact Assessment and other required permits or registrations to meet national laws and regulations; conduct Safety Standard Management review and align with velocity EHS system; coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring, evaluation, and medical surveillance to prevent occupational disease; maintain SAFE and environmental tools with continuous improvement; follow up on incident investigations, corrective actions and Injury Trend Analysis to prevent incidents; conduct canteen and dormitory inspections with Admin to supervise food safety and fire safety to prevent incidents; conduct contractor & supplier EHS management, and issue non-routine high risk task permits to prevent incidents.
- EHS Projects : Lead and follow up JSA, LOTO, Ergo, Machine Guarding, BBS, Near-miss reporting, PPE management, IH, Environmental and related activities; coordinate Kaizens and other EHS activities to meet SAFE and TEOA 5-star requirements and prevent incidents.
- Audit : Implement routine EHS internal audits and examinations; prepare necessary material or data sheets for S.A.F.E, customer, local government, and global TE audits to ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Reporting & Training : Prepare monthly EHS performance reports to present EHS performance; organize health and safety related training for employees to promote awareness of health and safety.
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of EH&S experience required;University degree or equivalent in safety, health, environmental, chemical, mechanical or related technical discipline;Autonomous ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS;Good reading and writing in English & Chinese;Learning ability, integrity & trust, principled;Good capability to drive improvement;Demonstrated communication, collaboration and team building skills preferred.Competencies
