Job Descriptions and Responsibilities : -Responsible to lead the team to identify and pursue new project opportunities through networking, client outreach and industry events. -Responsible to train, oversee and lead the team to be capable in managing and coordinating all work enquiries from customers, including of but not limited to managing tender invitation, preparation of tender, preparation of technical proposal, cost estimation, project schedule, enquiries and calls from clients. -Responsible in leading the team to facilitate the whole tender, sales enquiry process to obtaining project and sales order. -Responsible to deal with clients to get the details and clarify specific requirements of each tender. -Responsible to oversee and ensure the team is working on design for new enquiries and obtain costing for fabrication and equipment with the team -Responsible to oversee and ensure the team is well verse on CAD (Computer-aided design) software, such as Autocad to create drawing. -Responsible to review construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. Scrutinizing fabrication and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deal. -Ensure the team follow up the outstanding sales quotation and negotiate with the respective stakeholders. -Ensure the team follow up the necessary job orders from clients and handover all documents to Project Management Teams, to monitor the work progress of the awarded job. -Monitor the purchases well and ensure all material and equipment are purchased accordingly without delay. -Liaise with the finance to ensure the proper documentations have been submitted to finance team to arrange for the invoices to clients on time. -Build and maintain strong relationship with clients at all times by understanding their needs and expectations. -Actively involved in project management through robust working list control and monitoring across various stakeholders. -Project Planning and Execution by developing comprehensive project plans. Ensure adherence to project schedule. Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedule, identifying critical path and monitoring progress. -Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, quality and safety with contractors and customers. -Coordinate with project team members, contractors and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration -Lead and manage a cross functional team. Assign task, monitor and provide guidance to ensure project success -Prepare regular project reports, including progress updates, financial report and risk assessment. Job Requirements : -Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering or any other related field. -5 to 7 years of working experience in Palm Oil / Agriculture Engineering would be an added advantage -Preference will be given to someone who come from Palm Oil / Agriculture / Construction background -Proven record of leading a team and project management experience and ability -Able to work as a team player with other stakeholders and work independently in a dynamic environment -Possess good skill sets on planning and execution, communication, problem solving, leadership and decision making -Strong analytical skill and attention to details -Resourceful, flexible and dynamic personality would be an added advantage -Good with reporting and analysis, good skill set for excel and word and overall good Project Management abilities -Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
