Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions (excluding recruitment) including compensation, benefits, employee relations, industrial relations (IR), training, and performance management.
Manage administrative functions including office management, facilities, and procurement.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the HR & Admin team.
Strategic Development
Assist the Senior HR & Administration Manager in developing and implementing HR and administrative strategies aligned with company objectives.
Drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in HR and administrative functions.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws, Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory requirements.
Oversee proper implementation of HR policies, procedures, and internal controls, recommending improvements when necessary.
Compensation and Benefits Management
Monitor and analyze compensation and benefits trends, recommending adjustments to maintain competitive and equitable packages.
Oversee payroll administration and ensure accuracy in statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Administer and update compensation and benefits policies in line with market practices and company needs.
Employee Relations and Engagement
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and complex HR issues in a fair and timely manner.
Strengthen employee relations and ensure a harmonious workplace through effective engagement and welfare programs.
Support the Senior HR & Admin Manager on Industrial Relations (IR) matters, including consultations and dispute resolutions.
Performance Management
Manage and improve the annual performance appraisal system to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Support department heads in implementing performance improvement plans and succession planning.
Training and Development
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to support employee development.
Promote a learning culture by encouraging continuous skills enhancement and professional growth.
Regional and International HR Matters
Support HR operations for regional and international offices, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and consistency of HR practices.
Liaise with regional HR counterparts to address cross-border HR and administrative issues.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare HR and administrative reports for the Senior HR & Administration Manager and management, providing insights to support decision-making.
Leverage HR data and analytics for workforce planning, employee engagement, and cost control.
Strategic Projects
Lead and participate in HR and administrative projects to support business growth and organizational change.
Undertake additional assignments and special projects as delegated by the Senior HR & Administration Manager.
