The Head of Operations will lead and manage the full spectrum of operational activities within the invoice financing and supply chain finance business, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This role oversees end-to-end invoice financing operations, system integrity, and operational risk controls, while driving digital transformation and continuous process improvements.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Operations will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client experience, strengthen operational governance, and support the company’s growth agenda.

Responsibilities
- Lead all operational functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of disbursements, verifications, documentation, and collections.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and service standards while consistently delivering an excellent client experience.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including maker-checker workflows, to ensure strong operational discipline.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies, SOPs, AML / CFT guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen operational controls including fraud prevention, data protection, verification integrity, and risk management frameworks.
- Ensure Shariah compliance for applicable products and readiness for Shariah audits.
- Manage client enquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve operational matters and support client relationship management, client expansion, and financing growth.
- Support credit control and collections activities by maintaining strong communication with clients, paymasters, and other key stakeholders.
- Review and approve operational documents, contracts, letters, and high-impact materials.
- Ensure proper record-keeping, audit readiness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Prepare management reports, operational dashboards, and relevant analyses to support decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and optimise client journeys.
- Introduce corrective and preventive measures to strengthen operational efficiency and controls.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to address bottlenecks and strengthen operational performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing operations team with strong collaboration, accountability, and productivity.
- Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to strengthen team capabilities and performance.
- Manage workforce planning and succession planning to ensure operational continuity and talent readiness.
- Lead digitalisation initiatives to enhance workflow automation, operational efficiency, user experience, and data accuracy.
Who are we looking for?
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Studies or related fields.Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in receivable / trade finance operations, branch banking, credit management, transaction banking or related functions.At least 6 years of experience managing teams in disbursement or operations within a multi-product environment.Demonstrated leadership qualities, strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong written and verbal communication skills.Passionate about digitalisation and automation, with proven experience driving operational process improvements.Strong knowledge of operating systems, system integrations and back-end accounting entries.Proactive in keeping up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes and new technologies relevant to operations.Demonstrates a strong determination to achieve goals and overcome challenges.Takes proactive steps and demonstrates initiative to take on tasks independently.Hard-working and diligent in carrying out responsibilities.A goal-go-getter to achieve objectives and meet targets.Hungry to succeed in their role.An enthusiastic learner to acquire new knowledge and skills.We appreciate your talent :
