Project Assistant Manager

Job description### Manage and deliver the project in alignment with the JM Capital Project Management Framework, including obtaining the relevant stage gate approvals. ### Recruit, manage and lead the project delivery team including both internal and external resources ensuring clarity of scope, communication, and interaction to successfully deliver the project. ### Single day to day point of contact on all project business and managing commercial, contractual & technical issues. ### Manage all working groups associated with the project including providing leadership for technical reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, value engineering, design integrity, 3D Model reviews. ### Responsible for preparing and managing the budget and spend within agreed parameters. ### Monitor overall project progress (cost & schedule) and use of resources ensuring corrective action is taken if necessary.### ### Requirements for the role : ### Communication – excellent communication and active listening skills with the ability to convey concepts in clear terms to a range of audiences using a variety of materials / media ### Building Collaborative Relationships – ability to build effective relationships between your team, department, across the wider organisation and with suppliers to help achieve business goals ### Customer Focus – ensuring the customer perspective is a driving force behind business decisions and activities ### Facilitating change – ability to encourage and influence others to seek and create innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities. ### Authenticity – behaving in a consistent manner whilst demonstrating openness and honesty in order to gain people’s trust and build authentic relationships. ### Leading Through Vision and Values – ability to develop strategic direction whilst keeping the organizations vision and values at the core.### ### How you will be rewarded : ### ### We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 25 days annual leave (varies for shift-based roles).
