Job Summary
This position will play a vital role in shaping Yayasan Peneraju's integrity policies and procedures. The primary responsibility is to ensure compliance across all systems, processes, rules, and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, strategizing, developing and implementing the Integrity Framework while identifying and addressing any weaknesses in existing systems.
Job Description
- Lead and Oversee Integrity Framework Implementation :
i) Organisational Anti-Corruption Plan (OACP)
ii) T.R.U.S.T Framework deliverables
iii) Corruption Risk Management (CRM)
iv) Yayasan Peneraju's Annual Integrity Day
v) Other integrity awareness and training programmes
Establish and oversee the governance structure, ensuring the organization adheres to regulatory and internal governance standards. Collaborate with department heads to ensure governance policies are effectively implemented and consistently followed.Oversee and guide the delivery of the four core Integrity Functions as stipulated in MACC guidelines :i) Complaints Management
ii) Detection and Verification
iii) Integrity Enhancement
iv) Governance Strengthening
Develop and monitor KPIs to assess integrity culture, programme impact, and governance effectiveness.Regularly review and update integrity, ethics, and compliance policies to reflect evolving laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Lead the process for receiving and managing integrity-related complaints, ensuring strict adherence to confidentiality. Conduct verifications and investigations to address breaches of integrity, implementing corrective measures where necessary, and reporting findings to the CEO or Board.Provide regular and ad hoc integrity reports to relevant authorities and governance bodies including the Board Audit & Risk Committee (BARC), Board of Trustees (BOT), CEO, reporting Ministry, and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).Lead the assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of corruption and bribery risks across the organization. Embed risk awareness in strategic and operational planning processes. Utilise data-driven tools to track, monitor, and report on integrity risks, trends, and programme effectiveness.Serve as a key advisor to the Management and staff on integrity-related issues such as conflict of interest, ethical decision-making, and good governance practices.Represent the Integrity Unit in Jawatankuasa Tata Kelola (Governance Committee) and other relevant committees, contributing to organization-wide governance initiatives and strategic discussions.Act as the principal liaison with external stakeholders such as the MACC, Integrity Institute of Malaysia (IIM), and other regulatory or professional bodies on matters related to integrity and governance.Perform any other duties as assigned by the CEO or Board, in alignment with the organisation's commitment to fostering a high integrity culture.Job Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Law, Governance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or any related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, integrity, governance, or risk management.At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing integrity, governance frameworks, or compliance initiatives.Strong understanding of Malaysian Anti-Corruption laws, particularly MACC Act and Whistleblower Protection Act.Knowledge of relevant guidelines such as OACP, ABMS (ISO 37001), and MACC Act 2009 (Act 694).Strong ethical judgment and integrity.High integrity, discretion and ability to handle confidential matters.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong report-writing skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively to Senior Leadership and the Board.Certified Integrity & Governance Officer (CIGO) and / or a certification in Anti-Bribery (e.g., ISO 37001 Lead Implementer or Auditor) are preferred.
