Senior Medical Representative - Lytics Specialist
The Position
You will pioneer the launch of a new Lytics product and act as a change agent to improve stroke care services in Malaysia. Your role will involve interacting with diverse stakeholders along the stroke patient journey to gather insights and develop strategies that unlock or remove barriers to better care.
As the sole in‑field, customer‑facing representative, you will collaborate with a cross‑functional brand team to design and execute initiatives for the new Lytics product launch.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Drive strategic account and territory performance – meet or exceed sales targets for assigned product(s) in the designated territory by achieving related quantitative and qualitative KPIs.
- Strategic account planning – lead the development of cross‑functional account plans based on a robust understanding of the patient journey, account potential, current contribution, drivers, barriers, key stakeholders, critical success factors, required resources, and desired outcomes.
- Strategic account plan execution – lead the successful roll‑out of plan objectives, ensuring tailored customer interactions, strengthening partnerships with stakeholders, implementing multi‑channel cycle plans, and driving initiatives to meet defined KPIs.
- Demonstrate superior customer engagement capability – build and sustain strong strategic relationships with key account stakeholders, applying deep knowledge and effective customer engagement skills. Be digitally fluent, tech‑savvy, and capable of presenting confidently.
- Adhere to compliance, code of conduct, and policies – ensure all company, industry, or account‑specific compliance requirements are understood, followed, and local compliance processes are maintained.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in science or health sciences.Well‑established knowledge of the Malaysian public hospital system, services, and infrastructure.Preferably with a minimum of two years of experience as a medical representative in public hospitals.Experience with new product launches and / or working in restructured public hospitals or the neurology therapeutic area is an added advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluent spoken and written English.Ability to present scientific data in health sciences to healthcare professionals.Why Boehringer Ingelheim?
