Manager / Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure Strategy&Solutions
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Group Infrastructure Oversight
– Manage and standardize infrastructure across education, retail, and other group businesses. Servers & Hosting
– Oversee physical / virtual servers, hosting platforms, and provide expertise on system requirements for new projects. Storage, Backup & DR
– Ensure reliable data storage, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. Networks & Security
– Oversee LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and ensure robust firewall and security measures across multiple sites. New Business Setup
– Support IT infrastructure planning and setup for new ventures, including physical retail outlets. End-User Device Standards
– Define policies and requirements for laptops, desktops, and lab PCs; ensure hardware meets teaching, business, and operational needs. Strategy & Solutions
– Recommend infrastructure improvements, evaluate new technologies, and design scalable, cost-effective solutions. Governance & Compliance
– Maintain IT policies, enforce standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks. Collaboration
– Work closely with IT Support Centre, faculties, business units, and vendors to deliver reliable services and long-term IT solutions. REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience Education :
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical field is commonly required. Experience :
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in IT operations, with increasing responsibility, is expected. Technical Skills Servers : Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V). Backup & Recovery : Veeam, Acronis, Commvault, or equivalent. Networking : LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches. Security : Firewall policies, patch management, endpoint protection. Storage : SAN, NAS, cloud integration
