Assistant Retail Store Manager (Queens Bay Mall, Penang)

Overview

Assistant Retail Store Manager required for PRISM+ Malaysia in Queens Bay Mall, Penang. The role focuses on accelerating growth in the retail segment, overseeing and maximizing sales through the retail channel, and reporting to the Retail Store Manager. We are seeking a passionate and result-driven individual who enjoys helping customers meet their needs and driving store performance in a high-growth electronics company. Responsibilities

Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, provide quality customer service, answer questions about products, and recommend suitable items Perform opening and closing procedures according to store policies Process and replenish merchandise and ensure stock availability Co-lead the retail team to maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness standards Create a positive work environment by motivating the team and fostering good relationships Recruit and hire new store employees Train and onboard new employees Create and manage store schedules Set, monitor, and achieve / exceed retail sales targets to drive improvement Provide timely sales reports and analysis, make recommendations, and flag risks of anticipated shortfalls Collaborate with management to plan and implement incentives and sales initiatives Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in retail Strong knowledge of retail processes and systems; proficient in Excel / PowerPoint Experience in malls landlord relations Data-driven with ability to analyze data for stock forecasting Strong communication and people skills Passionate about engaging customers and delivering excellent service Benefits
