Penerangan pekerjaanDegree in Accountancy Degree or Diploma in a relevant field. Related certificates to support your experience in accounting. Diploma or Degree in Accounting Minimum 2 years of working experience in AR or AP functions. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Computer literate in accounting software (e.g., UBS or AutoCount) and knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. High competency in Excel will be an added advantage. Responsible, proactive in problem-solving, attention to detail and accuracy, independent, effective communication skills, and committed to delivering with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to handle full sets of accounts.
- Liaise with the auditor, tax agent, and other government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Support the finance team with special projects and ad hoc analysis.
- Maintain accounting and filling system.
- Well versed in UBS Accounting System / Auto Count System is an added advantage.
- As and when required by the Management and any relevant Ad-Hoc
