Electrical Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• Review project specifications, contract agreement and extract key electrical design parameters and verify project checklist accordingly.
• Prepare clarifications and deviation list.
• Plan document submission schedule based on VDRL.
• Prepare / check electrical analyses based on project checklist and crane analysis.
• Nominate major electrical components and check major component list.
• Prepare / check electrical schematic diagram based on electrical analyses and project checklist.
• Provided design parameters and guidance to draftsperson in order to produce drawings.
• Prepare / check drawings / documents based on electrical analyses and project checklist.
• Check and approve drawings / quotation from supplier based on design requirements.
• Generate and update electrical checklists based on new findings.
• Respond to ECN within 24 hours (When needed).
• Coordinate and monitor electrical draftsperson's work schedule.
• Source for new / alternative products from the market based on design requirements.
• Respond to 3rd party comments on drawings / documents.
• Prepare installation, operation and maintenance procedure for electrical components.
• Validate information on operation and maintenance manual.
• Provide technical support to EC and other departments.
• Troubleshoot electrical related issues.
• Contribute on departmental and sectional improvements.
• Visit factory floor to update knowledge on fabrication, assembly, testing and commissioning.
• Attend trainings, conferences, exhibitions to enrich knowledge.
