Operational Management

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring departmental objectives and KPIs are met.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
  • Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to drive business results.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, workflow, and task completion.
  • Conduct regular operational audits and assessments to ensure quality, compliance, and process improvements.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Make informed decisions to resolve issues and improve operational outcomes.
  • Prepare and present performance and progress reports to senior leadership.

Business Strategy Execution Unit (BSEU) Functions

  • Lead efforts to address and close audit findings, including root cause analysis and action planning.
  • Oversee the resolution of issues identified during VIP visits, ensuring timely and effective follow-up.
  • Manage and communicate new store opening schedules to relevant stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate store relocation and closure activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of new display tools across stores.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new product categories to enhance store offerings.
  • Execute various business strategy and development projects aligned with company goals.
  • Assist in new market expansion initiatives by reviewing managerial performance and identifying secondment opportunities.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, business strategy execution, or project management.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, managing cross-functional projects, and driving process improvements.
  • Experience in multi-store retail operations or HQ retail support functions preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of operational data.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data analysis, reporting, pivot tables).
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven.
