Overview

Cloud Kinetics is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks and participate in API testing to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks from scratch using Cypress, with integration into CI / CD pipelines (GitLab experience a bonus).
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent, and automate API tests using Newman or similar solutions where applicable.
  • Develop and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Execute test cases manually and plan for test automation where applicable; develop and maintain automated regression tests as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing.
  • Proven experience in developing end-to-end test automation frameworks using Cypress; exposure to other test automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
