As the Head of the House & Fixed Assets Financing (HFA) Department, you will lead the strategic direction, performance management, and operational execution of the Bank’s HFA portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring product competitiveness, supporting business growth, managing risk and compliance, and enhancing customer satisfaction—while aligning with the Bank’s broader retail financing goals and Shariah principles.
Monitor the performance of the HFA portfolio, ensuring product pricing and features remain competitive in line with market trends.
Analyse portfolio trends and identify areas for improvement to enhance profitability and market positioning.
Business Enablement & Channel Support
Collaborate with branch leadership to drive HFA sales performance, offering strategic guidance and training programs tailored to product knowledge and market needs.
Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns—including digital outreach, social media content, and promotional materials—to support business targets.
Partner with the Product Management Division (PMD) to develop, enhance, and implement Shariah-compliant HFA products and programs.
Ensure readiness for product launches through coordination with key stakeholders (e.g., CFPC, CAD, CRD), system integration, staff training, and the development of marketing collaterals.
Market Competitiveness & Product Innovation
Conduct periodic benchmarking and competitor analysis to assess pricing, product features, and promotional strategies.
Proactively develop enhancement strategies to ensure HFA offerings remain market-relevant and customer-centric.
Stakeholder & Government Engagement
Collaborate with the Strategic Business Relations and Retail Banking Distribution teams to design tailored financing solutions for key employers and corporate clients.
Actively support national housing initiatives and government-led programs that promote homeownership.
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and BNM guidelines.
Serve as the Designated Operational Risk Coordinator (DORC) to uphold standards in operational risk management and Shariah compliance.
Act as the primary liaison for selected housing developers and governmental stakeholders on project and scheme-related matters.
Ensure the timely delivery of reports and resolutions related to abandoned housing projects and public schemes.
Evaluate and address internal requests involving special pricing, conditional approvals, and exception handling.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
Design and deliver strategic training, briefings, and awareness sessions to build capability in HFA-related matters.
