Job Summary :

UCSI Schools is seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team, teaching across both primary and secondary levels. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for Mathematics, while building strong numeracy skills and conceptual understanding among students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons to primary and secondary students.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with national curriculum standards (KSSR / KSSM) and / or relevant international frameworks.
• Teach foundational and advanced mathematical concepts with clarity, ensuring students grasp the relevance and application of Mathematics in real-world contexts.
• Assess and monitor student progress through formal and informal methods; provide timely feedback and academic support tailored to individual learning needs.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry, problem-solving, and collaborative learning.
• Integrate the use of educational technology, manipulatives, and mathematical modelling to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence and cross-subject integration where appropriate.
• Participate actively in school-wide events, co-curricular activities, parent-teacher conferences, and other community-building initiatives.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with current trends and best practices in Mathematics education.
